K is for
Kicky
I never believed that this word, which sounds like a name for
an incredibly energetic girl is even a real word let alone a feeling. But it is.
It means exactly as the word sounds, and the pictures
that it conjures up. Pictures of breathtaking and charged events.
I have, as everyone has I’m sure, my own stash of secret
dreams, a long list. And as I go down crossing off things in my list and now,
can pretty much describe my life as being quite kicky. While I haven’t scaled
K2,  or kayaked down some whitewater rapids, little
adventures like finishing a 5K walk for a good cause, or finishing fifty thousand words in a matter of days for NaNoWriMo, or thinking of an
emotion a day each starting with a letter of the alphabet, knowing fully well
that there are just six basic emotions, is quite kicky.
Kicky is most definitely a feeling.
The intoxicating feeling of being alive.
