F is for
Furious
Fury has its place in the workings of the world. Sometimes,
in fact it is the main catalyst which gets things moving. The Trojan war. OK,
bad example, but you know what I mean. Several times the adrenaline rush stemming
from a deep feeling of fury has pushed me onto to new ideas and I must say
spectacular results. It’s true of several people in fact.
When I was growing up, one of our neighbors was a lady prone
to quick releases of the said emotion. A wee disturbance from us kids and the
language that issued from her lips were close to the most ingenious I have ever
heard. Of course what followed were even more imaginative ideas. Of course the
ideas came us. I must say we had a lot of fun with her
fury.
Skimming the topic, here’s something from one of my favorite
books about one my favorite felines:
 “In fact, the mere
act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious. — Schrodinger’s
Moggy explained ”
― Terry Pratchett, Lords and Ladies

  1. I agree with what my mother said. Fury can drive the furious person crazy but sometimes make others laugh at his or her cost. 😛 :DI wonder what G is going to be.

  2. There is such a thing as righteous anger, which – when used prudently – can be a force for good and bringing about social change. Ergo, F for Fury is fine. But that other F is mighty fine, too!! :DGlad to read your writings after a hiatus, SK. Always a pleasure.

  3. I doubt that we can reach progressive self-movement without indulging in furious expressions. Love your example about the neighbor. Sometimes crazy people make me better too. Your words have a stringing effect, I'd love to read what you write as stories!
